The war is over. But the danger is not. The beaches are littered with land mines. The idea was to blow up the enemy should they ever dare set foot on your soil. But the general lost the map. So he has ordered you to find and disarm the mines. Easy for him to say.

As a member of the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team following the invasion of Normandy beach, it is your job to find and disarm the unexploded bombs left hidden in the sand. Click on any square to begin. The number revealed will tell you how many bombs touch that square on its four sides and four corners. If no bombs touch the square, the area is automatically cleared. Use these numerical hints to discover and mark the squares with the unexploded bombs. Hold the SHIFT key down while clicking on the square to mark it. When you have correctly marked all the bombs on the beach and cleared all the spots without any bombs, you will advance to the next level. One point is awarded for each area of beach cleared and 10 points are awarded for every bomb marked when the beach is completely cleared. If you click on a bomb, the game is over.
