CONTINUE TO THE GAME

To make a shot simply position the stick with the cursor then click down to start pulling back, and release to shoot. You must be over the playing area (in the game) to click. The stick can move while you are pulling back, so you need a steady hand just like in the real game.

The rules for both games are a little simpler than the 'official' rules. After all, its just for fun.

Eight Ball

- Table is open until after the break shot. Then, the player that first sinks a ball gets to play that type of ball (stripes or solids) for the rest of the game. The 8-ball cannot be sunk until all the rest of your balls are sunk.

- If a player scratches (cue ball in a hole), his turn is over and the other player can place the ball anywhere on the table.

- Once you sink all of your type of ball, then you must sink the 8-ball to win. Sink it too early and you lose.

- You don't have to call your shots (you can if you want, but the computer can't hear you).

Nine Ball

- You must sink the balls in order. A circle will tell you which ball is next while you aim.

- The player to sink the last ball (the 9-ball) wins.

- On each shot, you must hit the cue ball so that the first ball it contacts is the next ball to be sunk. However, after that contact is made, any ball that falls into a hole counts. If you do this, you get another turn. if you hit another ball, it is a foul and the other player can place the ball anywhere on the table.
