GameScene is a free online games Web site created by CleverMedia, an Internet content creation company in Denver, Colorado. We make Web-based games in Shockwave and Flash and video podcasts. At GameScene, you can play these games for free.
What Makes GameScene Different?
There are many game sites on the web. What makes GameScene so special? Well just about every other site you will find contains games taken from other sites and developers. Sometimes legally, sometimes not. But GameScene contains only games made by CleverMedia. We programmed and designed each and every game you will find here.
What's the GameScene Story?
GameScene started in 1995 as Gary Rosenzweig's Shockwave Arcade. Gary is the founder and still the CEO, producer and lead developer at CleverMedia. In 1996 the games moved over to a new site to become the CleverMedia Shockwave Arcade. By 1999 there were so many games that the site spawned others: GameScene.com, GamesPark.com and FlashArcade.com. Many of the new games were built with Flash. By the mid 00s all of the games were consolidated to one mega-site: GameScene.com. Today you can still play the more then 100 games created by CleverMedia. In addition, many of the games have been ported to iOS as game apps.
